Mijas is situated in the western Costa del Sol just 30 kilometres from Malaga Airport.
Mijas is one of the largest in the Province of Malaga, with 147 km2 is divided intro three different urban areas: Mijas Village, conserving the charm of a traditional Andalucian "white village", Las Lagunas on the coast is the most modern area of Mijas where you can find industrial and commercial areas and La Cala de mijas; a small seaside village in the centre of the 12 kilometres of beaches on the Mijas coast.
You can Access to Mijas from Málaga highway. Enter by Fuengirola and take the MA- 409 towards Mijas village. From Marbella via the N-340 Road- take the MA-409 towards Mijas. From Benalmádena village take the Benalmádena-Mijas-Coín Road (MA-485).
